Butterfly Winds

On the currents of wind
Blowing about chaotically
Dance the lilac blossoms
Spread perfumed ambrosia
About the flowering garden
Adorned in spider gossamer
Prism dashed in morning mist
Dispersing by winged stroke
Beckoning in the sunlight
Warming breath of butterfly
Waltzing about the hedgerow
Bathed in mornings azure
Dispersing across the horizon
Floating on Monarchs wings
Darting about the glory
Held high at the break of dawn
Awakened blooms of open eyes
Catching the moment of miracle
Flitting by on times moment
Passing unnoticed daily renewal
Life continues on butterfly wings
Discernibly excused forgotten
Until the rain falls…

This would be perfect for Crystal's anthology fundraiser. Beautiful imagery paints a picture with words here. This is such a creative poem. Thank you for sharing it. Karen
