Butterfly In the Corner
My room is small but a lovely place,
and "in the corner" I have put some peaceful things;
nothing expensive, simple, often secondhand.
A candle,
incense and a colorful rug;
and some pillows to hug.
I bring with me some flowers in a vase,
it is there that my thoughts fly high on wings;
and I can soar to all realms grand.
Oh, scandal,
meditation is like a drug;
and I glide on my magic rug . . .
