Butterfly Dream

i wished once
for a pair of butterfly wings
paper thin arms spread wide
on a warm summer breeze

something to carry me west
towards the setting sun
where dreams are made of clouds
and i was sure to touch one

i have no butterfly wings
feet firmly planted on the ground
i can only soar in the clouds
touched by my mind

where dreams exist
in realities yet unfound

RD.. dreams are our reality for up to a third of our lives.. that's not a fantasy! We can treasure these times for what they are.. real!
