Butterfly Dancing

Billy was born, On a light, breezy day, In the splendor of Spring, And a flowery display. And his future was bright, To be free of the leaf, And the promise of flight, Was a welcome relief. He faintly remembered, A life without wings, Just chewing and chewing, And chewing on things. Billy was spinning, And he spun for a spa, That was made out of silk, For a single pupa. Suddenly, And it came rather soon, He was no longer snug, In a tiny cocoon. And Billy was grateful, And glad to be free, By the changes he saw, And the future to be. And as he was flexing, And flapping his wings, He was thinking ahead, To a life without strings. A butterfly, Bobbie, Had spotted him there, And flapping her wings, She was glossy and fair. And she flew to his side, On a Bramble Bush twig, Where the shade tree above, Was a Blossoming Fig. He was glad that she came, And she came right away, To be there as a friend, In a female way. And she taught him to fly, For the sake of a sip, And the nectar he caught, At a butterfly clip. And the sunset above, Was a bright, purple glow, When they settled at last, On a rosebush below. And they sat for a bit, In a stupor of drink, When a bright moon above, Came along in a wink. And for Billy and Bobbie, The moonglow above, Was a halo complete, With a hello of love. For the sake of his pleasure, But also to please, The Man in the Moon, Shown a light through the trees. And he sang a fine song, For the sake of the night, And the sight of these two, Interlocking in flight. And he sang happily, For the joy of romance, And the sweetness of love, In a butterfly dance. For Billy and Bobbie, The Song of the Moon, Was a ballroom of bliss, In a dip and a swoon. “Billy and Bobbie, This song is for you", Thus sang the moon, In a tune with a view. "Butterfly dancing, Is easy to do, Just follow your wings, And for always be true.” Under the moonlight, A butterfly dance, Is bathed in the glow, Of a perfect romance. And Butterfly Children, Are hatching ahead, In the shadow of night, And a lush flower bed.

I agree with you. A lot of fluff 'n' stuff, 'til you've had ENOUGH! Sorry to hear about your hard times. Good luck, and Merry Christmas!
