Butterfly Birthday

flutter, flutter, your fine love is softer
higher lower, your love light is lighter
all I can see is your fine freckle face
and it’s advertising your feline grace

halo, halo, your virgin love to me
winds wile your smile here to adoring me
delicate wings feather a love entrée
butterflies bring me happiness today

colourful wings decorate memories
since wedding day mingling of energy’s
memories of May, still prelude a dance,
Your present, “yes” in your innocent glance

Two years hence it’s a butterfly birthday
Two years since our auspicious wedding day
