Butterfly

That's how I chose to remember her.
She always loved to examine them-
their colors, unique designs,
Unaware of her own uniqueness.

If only she knew how beautiful,
how precious she truly was to me,
I'd still listen to her studies.
She would still be here.

Now I look upon them
reminding myself ever more,
don't forget to say how much
she truly means to you.

The butterfly is resilient,
yet delicate in nature.
Marvel at it's silent beauty;
treat it with the utmost care.
