Buttercup
Your words are my drug of choice,
Your voice is music to my ear,
The tune you are is the love I love,
Making everything so clear,
That you’re the only one to ever reach me,
My heavy metal song,
That you are the one to paint my picture,
Making me belong,
To the silent lightning bolt,
From your cloud floating high up in the sky,
You are the one to lay out the stairs,
Answering the question why,
And so I live a life of stand and run,
Give it a go, turn it on and start it up,
A life of be an orchestra, throw the T.V. out,
And be a better buttercup.
