But Do Tell Me What Pleases You

I don’t know,
How to hold you,
How to love you,
How to support you,
How to hold on to you,
How to persuade you,

I sought your forgiveness,
But,
You didn’t forgive me,
You didn’t hold on to me,
You didn’t love me,
You didn’t support me,

I always thought I was wrong,
Wrong in what I had done,
Wrong actions done,
Wrong words said,

I had no recourse but to go in a shell,
The shell was empty,
The shell was void,
The shell missed you,
The shell craved for you,

I was truthful,
I was honest,
I said what I needed,
I wanted US,

I asked you
If it was over for us,
If it was the end,
If it was good bye,
If it was to part for good,

You Lied,
You cheated,

Then one day I found out 
About your love,
About your new US,
About your heartbeat,
About your lover,

You Lied,
You cheated,
You lied again,

You put kids in front of me,

But you mended 
Your ways,
Your behavior,
Your attitude,
Your outlook,
Your ties,

I blocked my mind
And set reset,
And trusted you,
And loved you as before,
And moved on as normal,
And continued to care for you,
And supported you,
And tried to be a friend,

Yet now like it had happened before,
You again are going astray,
You again are cold for me,
You again appear busy for me,
You again are fussy,

I confronted you,
You now question me,
You threaten me,
You act normal to others,
You blame me,

I am a brain person, 
Not a heart person,
You are for me the only person,
I have two left feet
So i can’t dance like you do,
I have a shrill in my voice
So I can’t sing like you,
I can think like a machine
So I can’t meet your hearts passion like you,

Am at a crossroad now,
Do I let go,
Not hold on to you,
Let you be what you want to be,
Let you rush into your lovers warmth,

But who am I
To stop you,
To hold you,
To restrain you,
To question you,

You my love
Do what pleases you,
Move on if it pleases you,
Dump me if  it pleases you,
Torment me if it pleases you,
But do tell me what pleases you.
