But Children Smiled

After meeting of poets with children, who had serious diseases of their backbones and legs. ------------------------------------------ We went out to night, The wind tore the sky , The month has gone mad and hid somewhere. But sick children smiled And there was no suffering in their voices They were glad and thanked us. And some of them waved "good-bye" to us with metal crutches like silver wings.
