Burning Together

im a candle flame, you can see me glow, casting small little shadows, in my own puppet show, you sit in the fireplace, and put me to shame, i flicker in awe, of your roaring flame, then they put you out, you're smoke in the air, i cry waxy tears, and flicker in despair, they leave me burning, and wander away, im left close to some papers, and a spark gone astray, lights you up again, my firey soulmate, they hear us join as one, a little too late..
