Burning Embers

When love wears a veil
and seems to grow pale
remember, no poking allowed.
Just keep the wood warm.

Load up on fuel
vows in renewal.
Show up with favored gifts endowed,
wait for sparks to form.

Well deserved win, my friend! This one came close to the top because of your beautiful analogy, that is so fitting to compare to a love gone "cold" to a wood fire that's dying out. Excellent, and congratulations!
