Burning Bridges

Don’t say you’re sorry because I know you would say it again. But say those words again, so I will know where to begin. To begin my life without you Without the fear of doubt you placed in minds, when you were all mine. And as you walked away, time stood still leaving me wondering about your relationship skills. Skills that need sharpening, or maybe just a knife so you can dissect your own life. To help you see that what you need is a heart in hand to help you feel as though you have a command. But when the stitches become frail, don’t become pale and drift away from the pain that went on sell the next day Because the sign reads buy one get one free, and this is the life you left for me. Caring only about yourself, you burned bridges that can’t be rebuilt. -Andrew
