One day I tried to write a sonnet

For hours and hours I thought upon it

I swear I'm not joking

My head started smoking

And firemen turned their hoses on it

Thanks Karen, sometimes it feels like my head could burst into flames when I'm writing.

Hello Randy, your witty poem really captures the struggle and frustration of creative endeavors. The humorous imagery of your head "smoking" from the effort to write a sonnet is both relatable and entertaining. I loved how your clever wordplay adds a playful twist to the challenges of writing. This is a lighthearted piece—it brought a smile to my face! - Blessings, Daniel

Thank you Daniel, I really like writing limericks. They're short and fun.

Thanks Kim, it only hurt for a little while and the scarring was minimal.
