Burn The Witch

Thin lines blur into your realities Enigmas unable to be seen blind The light is shining bright into the tunnel Do you see me at the bottom of the rabbit hole? Am I a monster to you - like times of lore? Would you burn me like they did in yore? An urn drops dust into a zephyr whirlwind Petals dance writhing in your oh grin Creature of the night burned again For being different deemed a sin Fore having a different darker opinion

Short and bitter sweet. Truth wrapped in lovely words. " Burned again... fore having a different, darker opinion..." So sad that we demand freedom and yet deem some unworthy to be free. If we desire to have our opinions validated, we must be willing to allow others the same rights. For they Do have that right, without our approval. Wonderful, thoughtful poem! Xo
