The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Burn In

Rise up and smile
But dive back down.
There's no way out,
So keep that frown.

Close your eyes
And see her now.
You could neglect
If you knew how.

Don't burn out,
Love this cloud.
Live to one day
Make her proud.

Hold out your hand
And feel the ground.
It is nothing but
A dream you've found.

Bot love and life live encapsulate in your verses proving not only talent, but also virtuosity.Like lyrics waiting for the inner melody. At the moment, it reminds me of Paganini`s Caprices...Or: A handful of dust - a very English novel. Both love and life may be proud and know humiliation, too.Of course the human reason and Enlightenment`s Great Expectations... I liked your poem, and that is my spontaneous thought of admiration.
