Buried Alive

Each second slips away seamlessly,
Yet if only in this moment,
Contemplating like an allegro within my mind,
Always inquiring and acquisitive for answers,
Nothing ever manifests to be within reach,
Knowing my only certainty is this confusion,
Always tossing away my freedom’s,
Understanding nonexistence seems my reality.

Each second slips away seamlessly,
Yet if only in this moment,
Eyes open gazing, glancing forever seeking,
Focus completely blurred all reactions lost,
Whichever direction I look never matters,
Blinking as if to make sure it’s tangible,
Awake but never feeling truly awoken,
Blindness sometimes my only true desire.

Each second slips away seamlessly,
Yet if only in this moment,
My mouth agape screaming, yelling,
Continuing but never knowing if heard,
Lips moving vicariously with each expression,
Posturing with each as if an exclamation,
Painfully yearning to be fully understood,
Loneliness and being forgotten the true void.

Enjoyed your narcissistic pantomime. Your inner thoughts are gripping.
