Burials

"I have dug my way out the ground with palm and fist many times,
my whole life has been one burial after another, I will find my way
out of you." -rupi kaur
______________

"Your death was a selfish act . . .
driving your car off a cliff-
the pain you held ended that day but not for me
I have fallen in pits of darkness since-
but have found my inner strength and become strong
I have buried all those I love, including you-
I will go on and be just fine, my love . . . "

Everything and everyone ends. It is too bad we can't keep our promises when nature has other plans. We are small observers in all of this. Your soul is so kind that I hope it is escorted by angels always. If they are anywhere they are with you.
