Buntspecht / Spotted Woodpecker

Über mir in der Eiche
Hämmert ein Buntspecht sein Lied
Auf Suche nach Insekten

Sein Gefieder leuchtet in der Sonne
Hier ist die Natur noch in Ordnung

High in the oak tree
A Spotted Woodpecker hammers his song
Looking for insects

His feathers glare in the sun 
Here nature is still in order

And, yes, I'm sure the miscalculations on the amount of oil were purposely presented that way. BP gas is often a bit cheaper than some other brands here in Florida, but I bet most environmentally conscious drivers will be avoiding their gas stations. I surely will. Glad to hear that "nature is still in order" where you live, Gert. The Gulf oil spill is approaching the Florida Panhandle. It won't affect the woodpeckers, but many forms of sea life are endangered.
