Bumble Bee
It always seems so strange to me,
the wing size of the bumble bee.
A body of such massive size,
should not have wings that compromise.
To fly for hours from flower to flower,
depends upon its flying power.
So, it’s baffling how wings so small
can carry it around at all!
An airplane has wings so large,
longer still than any barge,
that the bumble bee’s wingspan should be,
at least six inches across you see.
This insect simply flies around,
without ever falling to the ground.
On paper it simply should not fly,
but no one has ever explained why?
And thus, it flies oblivious,
it cannot understand the fuss.
The miracle it flies, despite,
means whatever you strive, you might!
