Build Me a Home

Build me a home Build me a better life Mould the sands of my past Immortalize my hopes and my desires Raise them high on the path of my growth Paint them with my sweat, paint them blood and salt Build me a home Put in it, a good wife Put in it, goodness to last The trauma of memories, heat of fires The floods of spring, and the winters so cold The goodness of two lifetimes with but a little fault Build me a home Put on it a silver hide All these are not much to ask All these like frankincense and myrrh What more to have than them in seven folds The goodness of two lifetimes with but a little fault

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
