You know, you can see why Buddhism appeals to those who are trying to find themselves -- as it is so inner-directed. I understand that once somebody has achieved 'higher consciousness,' he can then focus outward. But so many get hopelessly lost on the journey inward... As you can see, I was once one of those searchers, although I never seriously took up Buddhism.... Well-penned, methinks. ~ gw

methinks i could have done better...in life buddhism is not so much some distant spiritual thing as it is freedom from the things that bug you : )
