Bucket List
Do you have a mega Bucket List ?
do you read it every day ?
or are they just a wish list ?
impossible dreams , the voices say.
Do you set your goals up high?
do you allow yourself to fly ?
or do you think it's for tomorrow ?
and say that with a sigh .
You see, iv travelled world, all over
iv seen it all before
so my bucket list is smaller
now my wishes, crazy tall.
It may not seem a lot
but to me it's everything
if the voices say don't bother
make your list with silly things.
I'v seen wonders of the world
and boys diving down for pearls
iv seen Africa in the wild
but l long to be a child.
If your body is giving up
and your mind is full of woe
make your list and cross them off
let your dreams just flow and flow.
So l made my list at 20
now added plenty more
and completed one this morning
stuffed down cream cakes from the store.
