When we first met, our love so stark Would our love sizzle, even spark Soon a tiny sprinkle implied Trickling spring bubbled from inside Beside the lake, when we were young Our budding love became far-flung Our love we no longer could hide Our love's spring bubbled from inside A young man took a risk in time Without a reason or a rhyme The moves you made surely implied Trickling spring bubbled from inside Our spring grew into a river Soon became a child's caregiver Three children in lifetime we've strive Still a spring bubbled from inside Date Written: September 01 and 02, 2022 Contest: A Kyrielle About Water Sponsor: Kim Rodrigues
