Bruised Syllables

A letter to my wounds, fragranced with powdered incense, every word woven from carnelian ink, beauty lies in the readers heart, bruised syllables define nothing, when everything phrased and vented, are mere signs of bravery, flowing in eloquence. So, see beyond vague verses, crafted from mystical metaphors, and sanguine similes, there streams, truth of a healing mind, still bleeding broken ballads, and soulful sonnets; same rhythm as the art of a passionate poet, pleading to be heard and seen, amidst silenced skies on gloomy nights, as this quill desires no accolades nor condolences but compassion.

This is a chocolate fountain of delicious alliteration but with a chilli bite. Gonna fave this beautiful piece. I cannot but adore. "crafted from mystical metaphors, and sanguine similes" (*sigh*). Long to hear these words read aloud.

I cant find words to describe the punch it gives to the reader going through your syllables, each of them touches deep down , we can feel ...wound made so beautiful in your ink

This one packs a punch, I can feel the bruises.. you will always be my favourite poet, so happy you are on here... this one is dark and deep in your own unique style of writing.. A letter to my wounds is a clever opening.. we are all wounded in some way, just some know how to heal better, I guess.... your poem is full of poetic lines that show the magnificence of your quill... The ending is perfect.. we should not do things for applause, just to express what we suppress... awesome.

I can definitely see that you've poured your heart in this write.. Sigh.. This resonates with me too, in so many ways.. "As this quill desires no accolades nor condolences but compassion" Indeed, there's so much truth within such few words. We don't require to be sympathised but to be understand.. We yearn for compassion from genuine hearts.. For someone to understand the reason behind our grieving metaphors and melancholy, but only if someone was there to actually comprehend & listen..hits hard

I read your poem because I was attracted to the title. Indeed, poets sometimes write bruised syllables, but the true meaning lies in looking beyond those words and the metaphors, similes, etc. Sometimes we poets just need to be understood beyond the veil we sometimes create.
