Brownie Time

BROWNIE TIME

So    it’s brownie time
They are so easy to make
50 strokes or so
Of this heavenly chocolate
No kids    so I’ll eat them all

Looking it over
I can do better than that
Such a weak poem
Baking brownies is no art
Poetry should say something

Now    take Longfellow
Hiawatha eats brownies?
Yes!    Magic brownies
Amazing what one can write
On a magic brownie high

:) Big smiles reading this poem, Daver. I like the brownie batter better than the brownies themselves. However, some people put special "substances" in brownies that make them magical. Now where is Hiawatha when you need him? Delightful poem, dear. Love, Carolyn

The magic of chocolate, mingling with the essence of vanila extract...a yummy treat for sure! Quick to make and quickly eaten, my kids would love you!! Maybe part of the magic...they disappear? Best wishes! Love, Mikki

i love making brownies my self, the smell it gives the kicthen, is heavenly. as this piece you wrote was. a great write Daver, enjoyed, makes me want to go bake some.
