Brothers Awake

this life is not one to be lived comfortably,

so don't side-step your responsibilities-

waiting for the burdens to ease.

take the earth in both hands and mold it;

find true love and give it, don't hold it.

seek out truth and wisdom;

lay up crowns in heaven;

remember to aim high;

don't forget to stay grounded.

you are here for a purpose.

to fulfill it.

Hi Jamfox: I loved the simplistic beauty of your poem especially "you are here for a purpose" I strongly believe that. Thank you for your comment on alpha to omega and please give me the title of your poem about existentualism. I 'd like to read it.
