For Joseph May's Eight word poetry contest.  A poem using the highlighted eight words.

synthetic, emanate, swirling, rustic,

timeless, illusion, blossom, silence

Once a bronze blossom shone so sophisticatedly.
Flourishing in an oasis of tropical butterflies.
Its aura would emanate from enigmatic auroras.
Its roots nourished from the scents of petrichor.

Admirers would gather to gaze at such grandeur,
oblivious of poppies among common roses,
so the jealous sun in its narcissistic loneliness,
blazed with hell like rays, creating a drought.

In the inhuman illusion of synthetic flowers,
its petals withered like rustic wicker wreaths.
I stood helpless, as the wind left it exposed,
as lifeless buds began swirling in the air.

Only evergreen textures remain timeless.
An empty garden has no worth to birds or bees.
In the silence between seasons, so much is lost,
yet unique anomalies always leave memories behind.

People sometimes want to see just the glory, the surface beauty and that's why they judge the book by it's cover and Mostimes make the best and worst mistakes ever. You have used the prompt words so well. Yeah! Same style won't always catch an eye, I like anomalies and differences. Strange and unique." Only evergreen textures remain timeless. An empty garden has no worth to birds or bees. In the silence between seasons, so much is lost." I love this quote so much as I already used it as my-

Daily dose of great words. And it is so symbolic. Not just gardens. People! No one finds solace in chaos. Unless for mentally unstable folks. No one needs anyone who doesn't bring value to them. They become a liability. Great piece Silent. Many Congratulations to you on this beautiful Win.

Dear Silent One, A wonderful read!! I could not agree with you any more that true beauty and uniqueness are often overlooked or destroyed by jealousy and artificial imitations, but their memory and impact endure. I liked how you showed the blossom's destruction by jealous forces (the sun) and the drought represents how unique beauty can be lost or overshadowed in a world that often favors the artificial or common. And my favorite line is "In the silence between seasons, so much is lost, yet unique anomalies always leave memories behind." Good Luck in the Contest! – Blessings, My Friend, Daniel

“ so the jealous sun in its narcissistic loneliness, blazed with hell like rays, creating a drought.” literally the sun is a narcissist most of the days and likes to watch them sophisticated bronze blossoms wilt and wither, it gives him some sort of pleasure. But thats what narcissists do isnt it: in silence when a garden is empty is it really empty? Theres so much left behind, roots of patience and kindness that so many wont see unless they dig deeper! Your use of prompts and also how you’ve used metaphors and imagery along with slight alliterations.. is so very impressive and impeccable! Silent one! You are such an inspiration! I felt this poem on a very deeper level! And your wordplay is beyond artistic! Like An aesthetic garden woven with ink! Pleasure reading your work always! Sending you light! All your poems are my faves! Cus im your number one fan :D

Love Love Love this and am faving it because its what poetry is supposed to do, show us your sorrows, your angst, your ambitions, inhibitions, passion. Silence is golden, then put into words with such brilliance. How it excites the mind. Who needs blunt rhymes that bore "an empty garden has no worth" wow Silent One!--I'm learning to dig deeper--like Empress notes above!
