Broken Wing

Sorrow breaks hearts and clips our wings,
Your broken melody seals this pain,
Drifting so high you could not land,
Why did I try I could not stand,
And you, oh you,
Flew so high, I learned to be an angel,
Just so I, oh I,
Was able, to catch you,
You fly so high on your broken wing,
With me at your side we will still sing,
This flight is one that we will win,
Pick ourselves up and mend our bones,
Stretching these wings we don't forget,
What it feels like to rise above,
Heads in the clouds are better than sand,
And you, oh you,
Flew so high, I learned to be an angel,
Just so I, oh I,
Was able, to catch you,
You fly so high on your broken wing,
With me at your side we will still sing,
This flight is one that we will win.
