Broken Souls

Battered by the harshness of life
Blindsided by Fate
Abandoned by their gods
These world-weary tattered souls
living on misguided beliefs and shallow ideals,
They are unable to break free from
the shackles of tolerance and indifference.

Who’ll mend their ways?
Neglected by their fellowmen
Forgotten by unforgiving time…
Oh, are these the children of a Lesser God?

Excellent write Abdul. There are millions of people around the world who live in cities. They all are lonely together. Someone once said "Loneliness is a prison that can be opened only from the inside".
