Broken: She Reminisces
Memories of then wrapped up in a thought,
Tucked away in her mind,
Memories of music and dancing and laughs,
Tattooed to her mental inside,
And she quietly sits alone and in peace,
Re-watching in clear black and white,
Enjoying the moments that made up her life,
The moments of each day and each night,
Because they’re all that she has, there is nothing else,
Her life’s become stagnant and grey,
Gone are the people who danced by her side,
The laughs have all faded away,
Now she looks through the window at the cold that’s outside,
The cold that comes to her door,
Enjoying the memories of love in her heart,
Before her ship sails out from the shore.
