Broken Promises
I promised myself I would never get caught up with a boy like you,
But I did.
I promised myself I would never fall in love with a boy who couldn't appreciate me
for who I was,
But I did.
I promised myself I would never cry over someone who hurt me so bad,
But I did.
I promised myself I would never get over you,
But I am.
