Broken Hearted Sunsets Theme 4

Broken Hearted Sunsets With all the broken hearted sunsets I’ve seen From misunderstandings, to words that are mean The sun returns to bring a new day Rising with hope to mend our ways Shining on water, sparkling on snow Bringing reflections of all that we know Returning smiles with bright daisies that grow To pick the best from the seeds we sow Within our lives, always changing we see Broken hearted sunsets can set us free Heidi Sands 1/23/18 Placed second in the One in Five poetry contest. Theme #4 Broken hearted sunsets.

Nicely written, Heidi, I like the fact that even though it starts out on a sad note, there is a new beginning in the morning reflecting hope and happiness. Best of luck. John
