Broken Chain
BROKEN CHAIN
Is a kite with broken strings
Like a doll's body that flings
Is a sour smile
Like a list in the lost file
Is a fractured promise
Like of Delilah's ironies
Is a promise that was made
Like of Judas' faith that fades.
