Broken Bleeding Heart

Sooty bitter ashes in my mouth
the taste of our old love, dead
another wave of pain hits me
I weep, I look at photos of us, weep
hear our songs, weep
sadness engulfs every pore of me
devastated, broken, oblivion 
ghosting through life
imploded heart bleeds
you don’t love me anymore 
I feel as if my spirit fled

     Why do I emote 
     by my pretty little cuts
     give me mindful tears
