Broken

My body is broken, my mind stays strong
Thoughts endlessly bounce of the pages
Pages from an unfinished chapter
In a book with no chance

Why talk if no one listens
Why write if no one reads
The idea is there, like a seed
Waiting to be planted

It's amazing to watch
Life grow and blossom
With time and effort
There are endless possibilities

A vision so unbelievably strong
One could only hold on
As the world chased it's tail
Trying to catch up to itself

As the world's opportunities
Expose themselves in offering
Waiting for the perfect moment
When the world catches up

A soul'd strength
Forever tested
By the hardships endured
With a body that's broken

Sometimes we don't stay broken for long Shannon. Visions of repair sure can help. You sure have me thinking this evening....:)
