Broken
She thought she had the answers to everything,
Life chauffeured her on the highway of bloom,
It was a symphony of love within,
She had all the good things coming to her room.
With time she saw the other side of life,
Her meadow was scorched,
She became a troubled wife,
Her glamour was botched.
She was torn and shattered,
She was cloaked by the night,
Pomp and pageantry no longer mattered,
She had a plethora to fight.
She lived in the shadow,
Until the ashes left her meadow.
