Broken

Pain in the rain,
Cold shivers merge;
Pain speaks most plain,
Cold feelings surge.

Here on cold fringe,
Mud and dirt stains;
Tremble and cringe;
Pain spreads most plain.

Harsh world flames cold,
Mud on prime steak;
Wet slime now holds,
Do you feel weak?

Jazz puts the blame,
Broken and torn;
Loss feels the same,
Wet rain now borne.

Rain stops for sun,
Dry fertile kind;
Glimpse floral fun,
Surreal true finds.

On broken edge,
Warms a dry page;
On a new ledge,
Start a grand stage.

Broken greets light,
Sure as warm will;
Set in new flight,
Stretch humble feel.
