Broke As Sacred

The poor aren't homeless
The poor aren't naked
The poor aren't starving
and broke as sacred

Regain their trust
And get their money
Your government's got it
And that ain't funny!

I'm mad as hell
And that's the truth
If you can't see
then tax the froofs

They don't get paid
They work for you
Their money's free
and that won't do

I want them fined
I want them signed
I say lets get
the axe and grind

Put out the trash
Replace their act
Restore their office
to just the facts

And say too much
For them to scare
And hope we've seen
The last to care
