Briyah
Appearing before you a poet of true inspiration
Am no fragmentation of your poetic imagination
I was made real, made to exist
I came into being, I could not resist
Feed with words, words for music, words to sing
Captivating the multitudes, at the arrival of spring
I am a master with the pen in my hand
Royalty from ah Trinidad Island
Poetry flowing crystal water
Down the river euphoria
Into your hearts, soul and mind forever
Your poetic majesty, your dedicated announcer
He who is entrusted with the poems you read
The ones that talks to you, the ones that you’ll need
