Brink of Serenity
With what lies ahead far beyond our grasp,
One must find solace in the notion,
That if not our minds and memories stay true,
We would collapse on the brink of serenity,
And with doubts and pressures lifted,
We could see the valor in our passing,
Only here on the verge of all hope to gain,
Will the setting of our dreamscapes thrive,
For it is not the imagination that we carry,
That brings us our destiny or force of will,
But the passionate hunger to do more,
To be more than just a moment in time,
That allows us to not only find,
But capture a worth and willing life.
