Bringouttheman

Your faith
Was faithful
As faithfulness
And your trust
Was trustworthy
As reliable
As noble
You were so genuine
You bring out
The man in me

Your words
Are now my commands
All your teachings
Are coming back
In my mind
It’s like magic
The more I think
About you
The more I feel
Your presence

You just bring out
The man in me
And that the man
You rose with pride
Fun, loving and caring
I mean
The man with values
Limited by norms

I just can’t
Compromise my principles
As they were laid
On top of the strong foundation
That was laid by love
And protected through love
As love was your mission
That was unconditional
Through the tests of life
You bring out the man in me

The very best being
With an ultimate potential
To change things
And better the lives
You were my first teacher
Before my primary teacher
Who guided my footsteps?
To control my language
While clearing my mind with just
You brought out
The man in me
