Bringing My Friend To a Tea House
Elegance does not do the cozy hidden away teahouse justice
stylish in a Bohemian, Roma mystical type of way
the hostess is exotic, a jewel, wearing chunky necklaces
her fingers are adorned with lapis lazuli, there is a ruby, and a smile.
Where did you find this treasure? My girlfriend queries me.
I know she is thinking it is the most exotic teahouse in this hemisphere
And it is; I keep it reserved only for those I love. The hostess embraces me. "Grandma!" I say "I have brought a friend."
I share this treasured place with only my best comrades, the ones
I trust, who love me for me, not for my Bohemian lifestyle which
seems to be in vogue these days with some.
