BRING ME HOME TO YOU

[Verse 1]
That mountaintop, a distant thought,
High feels so low when I’m alone,
If I had known the weight of regret,
I’d have never let you go.

[Verse 2]
I remember way back then,
Just you and me, no need to pretend,
We laid on the sand, chasing clouds,
Hearts unspoken, but so loud.

[Chorus]
Now I’m out on this raging sea,
Salt on my lips, just memories,
Crying in the wind, asking the tide,
Where you are tonight.
Hope keeps me holding on,
To right the wrong,
And bring me home to you.

[Verse 3]
We ran barefoot through golden fields,
Laughed in the light that love revealed,
Your hand in mine, a sacred land,
Blossoms dancing, future planned.

[Chorus]
Now I’m out on this raging sea,
Salt on my lips, just memories,
Crying in the wind, asking the tide,
Where you are tonight.
Hope keeps me holding on,
To right the wrong,
And bring me home to you.

[Bridge]
I left you standing in the rain,
With quivering lips and tear-stained pain,
But I’m coming back, heart in hand,
To build the life we once had planned.

[Final Chorus]
Now I’m out on this raging sea,
Salt on my lips, just memories,
Crying in the wind, asking the tide,
Where you are tonight.
Hope keeps me holding on,
To right the wrong,
And bring me home to you.

[Outro]
Yeah, I’m sailing through this stormy night,
With the stars as my guide and love as my light,
In every wave, your spirit flows,
I’ll find my way, wherever the current goes...

Dreams of your face, a warm embrace
Tears on our lips, hearts interlaced
Let’s write the ending we both missed—
With one more magic kiss

"Now here am I, A darkened sky, Waves splash my face, Salt in my eyes, Disguise my cries, For long lost love"......I really felt this one, love can turn to bad and you''ll still be loving, just loving alone.

So Many emotions! I can really feel the loneliness and regret, followed by a little hope at the end. I love it :-) x
