Bring Me Back

I am merely a shadow in daylight
You bend me like the weakest tree
You send my thoughts
Somewhere I cannot find them
Someplace there is a peaceful flow
A river of joy
A blend of moon and stars
But now where am I to go?
For the swallows have stolen my story
Flown away with parts of me
I will wait for the feathered ones
To bring me back
Meanwhile
I wait for you-yes you
To bring me back
