Bring It Home

Evil certainly plagues our world
Crossing boundaries, on the attack
Unacceptable actions against humanity
There’s no reason to stay silent
There’s no reason to submit
There’s no reason, no reason…
To turn our backs on values
To dampen love that we all need
Be willing to sacrifice
Spread love wherever you can
Build bridges with hearts
Hand another a life preserver
Give empathy where cries are heard
Discover wisdom within yourself
Be guided by light that starts in your soul
To shine on all the miles you travel
For you have a purpose…
And you have the will to choose
Be the light of a city in darkness
Like the stars across the midnight sky
Sparkle like the sun on waves in the ocean
Move with the tides…
Turn rocks with the currents until they are smooth
Reach the warmth of the shore and bring it home
