His voice in the morning,
Before the coffee and donuts
Beneath the hint of a hopeful thirst,
Breathing light, soft and silent,
Flowing through the whisper of his suggestion,
Reflecting the beautiful, the special
All the reasons that I know what it is
To love without conditions, to love faithfully
To love like I’ve never seen the sorrow or shame,
To love like I’ve never known the darkness of disgrace,
To love like I’ve only known him, my heart’s inspiration

His joy kindles hope and peace,
Before the echoes of yesterday’s prayer
Beneath the wonder of a promise of light,
Breathing into the darkness of night,
Glowing like the sheltering mountains, ridges
Ripe with the music of leaves rustling, winds racing
Across the past, through the everlasting promises,
Toward forever, where he and I will always be
Together, abiding in the heart and soul, the knowing
Of two hearts who listen carefully to the hope

His kindness, overpowering my doubts,
Before the truth spills out, blessings alive
Beneath the whispers of light, the soft miracles
Breathing joy through the air, preparing hearts
To hear the glory, the echo of a moment
Setting with the sun, glowing like forever in the distance
Arresting all the dreams with such ambitions…
Together, we are two as one, forever – together
Blessed by a love that is alive, beautiful and kind,
Promising the heart that forever is always the destiny
For those who share their hearts and lives,
Their forever is sweeter than the brightest sunshine!
