Bright Star

Bright star
remember what it was
we were thinking
back when everything was
oh, so new?

Bright star
I wanted so much to be
right there again
and still do.

Bright star
what thoughts hover
around your shoulders
all gold and soft?

Bright star
let me find my way
back to the brightness
we once knew

when everything was
so new and
innocent as
dew.
