Bright Eyes

As they gazed upon the pitch black night sky together She had thought to herself she had never seen anything so bright before She had never seen anything so innocent and so pure As they gazed upon the pitch black sky together She's wondering... Wondering if something will happen Wondering if there would be some type of shooting star She's wondering if something magical will happen tonight as they gaze upon the pitch black night sky The pitch black night sky is all lit up, the stars had filled up the pitch black canvas As they look straight up at the lit up black canvas As they gaze into the beautiful painting called the midnight sky something magical does happen As they gazed upon the pitch black night sky together she's thinking to herself about how the stars aren't the brightest thing here tonight As he tilted his head away from the lit up canvas and into her eyes that's when she truly realized The brightest thing that night wasn't the lit up pitch black night sky In her dark eyes the brightest thing out there that night was his bright eyes She was realizing that she had found her shooting star finally At that time she was realizing that her shooting star she had been looking for all this time It was in the sky staring down at her the whole time.
