I have such fond memories and photos of our State Flower (Minnesota) camping with my daughters in Itasca State Park where the "supposed" Mississippi's Headwaters resides, on Lake Itasca...(not true according to Schoolcraft's guide Chief Ozawindib") my girls & I found the true spring source from Ozawindib's journal on Elk Lake & located it!
