Love your Tanka Heidi, we have them growing in our back garden in profusion - they are so beautiful - I think of fairy slippers when I look at them. All the best with the Contest...Maria

Gorgeous, Heidi! I have such fond memories and photos of our State Flower (Minnesota) camping with my daughters in Itasca State Park where the "supposed" Mississippi's Headwaters resides, on Lake Itasca...(not true according to Schoolcraft's guide Chief Ozawindib") my girls & I found the true spring source from Ozawindib's journal on Elk Lake & located it!
