Brief Ode to the Babe

    Boyhood pranks
    gave way to thanks

       for the New York Yanks
       and all those franks

Hello Gershon, I loved the Babe and he is certainly a legacy to write about. I saw a baseball card from, I believe, 1919 of the Babe that sold for millions. If I were only so lucky. Thanks for the memories!! Spring Blessings, My Friend, Daniel

What would you do with all that cash, Daniel? As for me, I'd rather be broke. So I am. lol. ~ gw

Yes Gershon the Babe could put them down. I am sure if he entered the hot dog eating contest at Cony Island he would be a winner... Incredibly he could still play baseball...
